Ralegan Siddhi: Anna Hazare today scathingly said he had no interest in his former associates, Kiran Bedi and Arvind Kejriwal, and did not want to be dragged into "dirty politics."

Speaking to NDTV, the anti-corruption campaigner said. "Anna has no interest in Kiran, Arvind or any party. Let Delhi decide whether to choose Kiran or Arvind. Why drag me into the muck?"

The 77-year-old Gandhian has been openly disapproving of Kiran Bedi's move to join the BJP and contest the Delhi polls as the party's presumptive chief minister.

"I am not upset because Anna does not know why I have taken on this mantle," Kiran Bedi had told NDTV.

Mr Hazare had told reporters that Kiran Bedi had not contacted him before joining the BJP. Ms Bedi, he said, had not come to meet him in a year and had not been in touch with him.

Mr Hazare, whose India Against Corruption campaign won massive public support in 2011, has not hidden in his distaste for mainstream politics. Both he and Ms Bedi had opposed Arvind Kejriwal's move to launch the Aam Aadmi Party in 2012.
