India suspends doctors over banned fetal ‘sex tests’

Twelve Indian doctors from the state of Rajasthan have been suspended for allegedly conducting prenatal sex tests. Although prenatal sex tests and abortion of female fetuses are banned, a study revealed that the law is widely flouted in India.
