Pakistan inflicted upon Australia their sixth consecutive Test loss in Asia

ABU DHABI: Pakistan won the second Test against Australia by 356 runs in Abu Dhabi on Monday to take their first series victory over the Australians in 20 years.

Australia, set a 603-run target, were dismissed for 246 soon after lunch on the fifth and final day.

The defeat was Australia's third worst in terms of runs in all Test cricket and Pakistan's biggest in all Tests.

Pakistan won the first Test by 221 runs in Dubai. Steven Smith missed a fighting hundred by just three runs as spinners Zulfiqar Babar (5-120) and Yasir Shah (3-44) demolished them on a weary pitch at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium.

Mitchell Marsh made 47 and defied the Pakistan attack during a 107-run fifth wicket stand with Smith, but Australia lost five wickets in quick succession after lunch.
