One of the fastest developing countries in the world is India and at the same time it is also the most happening place for various types of illnesses and ailments. We have seen the likes of Dengue, Bird Flu and what not but now it is heard that India is becoming vary of a special virus that may enter India.

One of the fastest developing countries in the world is India and at the same time it is also the most happening place for various types of illnesses and ailments. We have seen the likes of Dengue, Bird Flu and what not but now it is heard that India is becoming vary of a special virus that may enter India.

This is called the deadly Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). It is heard that the government and the Integrated Disease Surveillance Project have been keeping a close watch on this virus. This is slated to be a respiratory virus and so passengers coming from various countries are being checked.

The government has reportedly prepared a plan of action for 23 Ports of Entry including airports, seaports and land borders. This is being done as it is a requirement set by the World Health Organization (WHO). With the kind of hygiene we have and the immunity levels, let us see how SARS will treat the Indians.
