NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister P Chidambaram on Saturday said that he is happy with the special court's verdict in the 2G case.

Speaking exclusively to Zee News, the Home Minister said that he expected the verdict delivered by the Patiala court, but was ready to tender his resignation in case the order had not come in his favor.

In a huge political reprieve for Chidambaram and the UPA government, a special CBI court today dismissed a petition seeking to make him a co-accused in the 2G scam case.

Special CBI Judge OP Saini pronounced the judgement on camera in the presence of the petitioner, his wife, his private secretary and one more council.
