Hindu pilgrims stopped at Wagah

Lahore: Pakistan Rangers on Friday stopped 100 Hindus pilgrims from entering India at the Wagah Border.

According to Rangers officials, the pilgrims were stopped due to issues with their immigration documents.

Rangers officials added that these pilgrims would be allowed to travel to India when their No Objection Certificates (NOCs) were received.

New US study finds diverse beliefs in Muslim world

An extensive survey of Muslims around the world has shown while most believe in the religion's core principles, practices and beliefs vary in different parts of the world. Eight of ten people interviewed in sub-Saharan Africa as well as South and Southeast Asia say religion is "very important," while only one in two agreed in former Soviet republics.
