Karyasiddhi Anjaneya Temple

The Sri Karya Siddhi Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Girinagar, which is in southern Bengaluru, is now one of the best places in the city to pray to Lord Hanuman. People say that the temple is a peaceful place with a lot of spiritual energy. Every week, thousands of people come here to pray because they think that honest prayers will help them get what they want and do well in life.

What the Temple means

People who go to the temple pray to Hanuman as ‘Karya Siddhi Anjaneya,’ which they believe will help them achieve their goals and get through tough times. People go to the shrine to get help with their problems at work, at home, and in their spiritual lives.

‘Karya Siddhi’ means ‘the successful completion of tasks or the fulfillment of wishes.’

As a member of the spiritual group Avadhoota Datta Peetham, Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji opened the shrine. People who were there say that during the ceremony, they chanted the Hanuman Chalisa thousands of times in a row to ask God for blessings.

There is a big statue of Hanuman in the temple complex. It weighs about 200 tons and is one piece. The building is an octagon, which is different from the other temples in the area.

What people know about the temple

Many people believe that praying at the Karyasiddhi Anjaneya temple will help them get what they want and solve their problems. People from Karnataka and other states visit the temple to pray for their health, jobs, families, and school.

People also like it because of the special ceremony called Poorna Phala Samarpana, in which people give Hanuman coconuts and prayers to show that they are giving up and trusting him. A lot of people also think that Saturdays and Tuesdays are good days to pray to Hanuman, so the temple is very busy on those days.

How to Pray in a Temple ‘Deeksha,’ a 16-day spiritual practice, is one of the most common ways to worship at the temple. People who follow must follow strict rules and rituals during this time.

This is how most people say their prayers:

Giving Lord Hanuman a coconut (Poorna Phala) while saying a prayer or wish from the heart.

To show how much you care, you should walk around the temple 41 times.

Going to the temple every day for 16 days and still following the rules of your faith.

While you are making the vow, you can’t drink alcohol or eat anything other than plain vegetarian foods.

At the end of the time, the devotees pray again to thank God for all the good things they have received.

A religious landmark in the city

There are shrines for other Hindu gods and goddesses in the temple complex, such as Dattatreya, Shiva, Ganapati, and the Navagrahas. The shrine’s main god is Hanuman. This is why it is a good place for religious and spiritual events.

The Karyasiddhi Anjaneya temple is still one of the best places in Bengaluru to pray. A lot of people go there to pray for strength and courage, which are two things they really want.
