Most women spend loads of money to buy organic body washes to keep their skin smooth and radiant.

But why to spend a fortune on fancy products when you can easily whip up your own body wash at home?

Read on as we tell you, how you can create your own line of body washes sans chemicals.

Lemon Grass

The beauty about using lemongrass is that it makes your skin feel fresh all day. Sugar crystals help exfoliate your skin and protect your pores from dust and grime.

To prepare this body wash, pour 1/2 cup of Castille soap into an empty body wash bottle. Then, add 2-3 cups of distilled water.

Then, add 2 teaspoons of almond oil, 1 tablespoon of glycerin and 10-12 drops of lemongrass essential oil. Now, close the bottle and shake it well. Voila, you’ve your very own natural bodywash.

Shea Butter

If you have dry skin, this is the correct body wash for you. As shea butter is known to moisturize and soften dry, flaky skin.

It will also cleanse your skin without stripping its natural oils. To prepare this bodywash, start off by boiling 2 cups of water in a heavy-bottomed pan.

Then, add 1/4 cup of shea butter, 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel and 2 teaspoons of jojoba oil or olive oil and mix. Remove the pan from heat and add a few drops of any essential oil. Once it cools down, pour this mixture in a glass mason jar.

Peppermint Bodywash

Peppermint is a refreshing herb that soothes the skin and boasts of astringent and anti-inflammatory properties — making this DIY body wash a great option for people with oily or acne-prone skin. To prepare this concoction, start off by mixing one cup of liquid Castille soap with 4 tablespoons of lavender oil, 3 tablespoons of peppermint oil and 10-12 drops of eucalyptus essential oil. Pour your blend into a bottle. Shake well. Use and enjoy!

Castile Soap Bodywash

Honey is anti-bacterial and antioxidants. It is clarifying as it opens up the pores making them easy to unclog. The enzymes in honey work as an exfoliator. It also soothes the redness and deals with breakouts. To prepare this concoction, take 1/2 cup of honey and mix it with 2/3 cup of liquid Castille soap, 2 tbsps of olive oil and one tsp of vitamin E oil. Then, pour this mixture into a body wash bottle and voila, your natural bodywash is ready.

Lavender Bodywash

Lavender is soothing to your skin, it also helps you deal with redness and blotchy patches. To create this body wash, start off by mixing oatmeal in the boiled water. Then, strain it and mix one tbsp of vitamin E oil, 2 tbsp of avocado oil, ½ tbsp of castile soap and few drops of lavender essential oil. Then, pour these ingredients into a body wash bottle and use it.
