Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is running the government from her hospital bed, the ministers are meeting her every day, the ruling AIADMK said today.
Rubbishing speculations about who is running the government amid rumours about the Chief Minister's health, AIADMK spokesperson CR Saraswathi said, "Amma is recovering well and the government is functioning like always".
The officials of the Chief Minister's Office and the ministers, she said, were meeting her "everyday".
The powerful and hugely popular Chief Minister has been at a hospital in Chennai for the last 11 days. She had been admitted for treatment of fever and dehydration. But with the hospital stopping bulletins for a few days last week, speculations about her health was rife.
