Bhubaneswar: An aviation institute director in Bhubaneswar was beaten up by female students for allegedly sexually harassing them.

More than 10 female students thrashed Air Hostess and Hospitality Academy (AHHA) director Dilip Routray after they were allegedly sexually harassed at different work places where they were sent by the director to do job.

The students alleged that they were not paid salary at those places and were sexually harassed.

When the student complained to the institute's director he allegedly said that they have to compromise to continue with the job.

The students even complained to the police but they did not take any action following which the girls ransacked the institute and beat up the director in full media glare.

The director has, however, denied the allegations.

Meanwhile, the police has registered complaints from both the students and the director of the institute and is investigating the matter.
