Karimagar: A 14-year-old girl from the city has entered the Guinness Book of Records for her feat of carving 12 idols of Ganesha on a 8 cm-long piece of chalk.

Karimagar: A 14-year-old girl from the city has entered the Guinness Book of Records for her feat of carving 12 idols of Ganesha on a 8 cm-long piece of chalk.
P Madvika carved the idols in 60 seconds flat in the presence of Guinness Book officials here on November 14 last year, and recently received a certificate validating her record, her family members said at a press conference today. Madvika has already entered the Limca Book of Records for this feat.
The girl's father is an inspector in Armed Reserve Police. Superintendent of Police D Joel Davis congratulated her on her feat, an official release said.
