KARACHI, PAKISTAN – Terror attacks, sinking film industry, and a moribund economy, these are some of the issues that have plagued Pakistan for some time.

Yet Pakistani talk shows are awash with an ever increasing list of conspiracy theories. Mushahidullah Khan, Pakistan's Minister for Climate Change, became the recent passenger of the Blame-India bandwagon. Khan cast his eye at the "suspicious" power plants of Rajasthan for the heat wave that has killed over 700 in Karachi.

Here are some other things people in Pakistan have blamed India for.

1) The Language War: The host of popular news talk show Hasb-e-Haal claimed that India's intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing, has a secret mission in Pakistan. According to host Junaid Saleem, RAW is on the warpath to ruin and corrupt Pakistani language and culture. He claimed that Hindi Saas-Bahu soaps have been promoted by RAW through several local Pakistani cable operators who are on RAW's payroll. "People are now increasingly using Hindi words. Indian culture is eroding our culture. And we should ask Pakistani government to stop airing such shows , The day is not far when our future generations would be speaking Hindi and not Urdu," the host said.

2) The screen war: A journalist of Express News went one step further. He claimed that the Indian government is apparently dishing out millions of dollars to Hollywood production houses on the condition that they hire Indian actors. The journalist claimed that this is a part of India's cultural hegemony.

3) Water terrorism – 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed had reportedly blamed India for the floods in Jammu & Kashmir, which has also affected Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and other parts of Pakistan. He alleged that India was responsible for the floods as it has "released waters in rivers without notifying Pakistan".

4) Peshawar attack : Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf claimed after the Peshawar school attack that the terror outfit, responsible for the attack was nurtured by India. "Do you know who is Maulana Fazlullah? He is the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan commander. He is in Afghanistan. And I am reasonably sure that he was supported by former Karzai government and RAW to carry out terror attacks in Pakistan," he said.

5) RAW has been formed to wipe off Pakistan: Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif claimed that RAW was created to destroy Pakistan. He also told Pakistan's Geo News that the interests of the Taliban and RAW were the same, he also claimed that separatist leaders from Balochistan province had Indian passports. He was also quoted saying "RAW has been formed to wipe Pakistan off the map of the world".
