By-elections to three Delhi assembly constituencies would be held on 25 November. Counting for all the seats would be held on 23 December, the Election Commission announced on Saturday.

New Delhi: Five-phased assembly elections would be held in Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand, beginning on 25 November and ending on 20 December.
By-elections to three Delhi assembly constituencies would be held on 25 November. Counting for all the seats would be held on 23 December, the Election Commission announced on Saturday.
The five-phases will be 25 November, 2 December, 9 December, 14 December and 20 December.
The three Delhi constituencies where by-elections will be held on 25 November are Krishna Nagar, Mehrauli and Tughlakabad.
Elections will be held in 87 constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir and 81 of Jharkhand. Moreover, the Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath said that Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir will have 24,648 and 10,015 polling stations respectively.
Sampath also said that both these states were sensitive with respect to security and the Election Commission had taken appropriate measures for the same. He also said that systematic voters' education and measures for active voter participation will be continued for Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand.
The model code of conduct comes into affect in Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand with immediate affect.
