NEW DELHI: Manvinder Bisla's 61-ball 92 and an unbeaten 22-ball 32 from Eoin Morgan were not enough as Chennai Super Kings beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 14 runs in their IPL 6 match at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday.

It all came down to Kolkata needing 19 runs to win that was bowled by Chris Morris, but the South African pacer bowled well to concede only four runs.

Bisla hit a 61-ball 92 before he was run out by a direct hit from Michael Hussey.

Bisla reached his fifty off 43 balls to keep Kolkata Knight Riders in the hunt against Chennai Super Kings.

Dwayne Bravo had Jacques Kallis caught by Dirk Nannes at short fine leg to reduce Kolkata Knight Riders to 99/3.

Kallis hit a six in his 20-ball 19 before falling to Bravo.

Kolkata lost their second wicket when Brendon McCullum edged a Mohit Sharma delivery onto his stumps.

Kolkata's run chase got off to a bad start as Chris Morris clean bowled captain Gautam Gambhir (14) in the third over.

Earlier, Michael Hussey's 59-ball 95, Suresh Raina's 25-ball 44 and captain MS Dhoni's last ball six powered Chennai Super Kings to 200/3.

Raina hit a six and 4 fours in his 25-ball 44 before he was run out in the last over.

Hussey smashed a 59-ball 95 before Sunil Narine had him caught by Debabrata Das at deep mid-wicket.

Hussey's magnificent knock was studded with two sixes and 11 fours.

Wriddhiman Saha hit a 23-ball 39 before Rajat Bhatia had him caught by Eoin Morgan at deep mid-wicket in the 11th over.

Hussey smashed a 31-ball half-century as he and Saha brought up Chennai Super Kings' 100 in the tenth over.

Kolkata captain Gautam Gambhir's decision to bowl first seemed to have backfired as Hussey and Saha brought up Chennai's fifty in the sixth over.

Kolkata have brought in Brendon McCullum and Shami Ahmed in place of Sachithra Senanayake and Sarabjit Ladda.

Wriddhiman Saha replaces Murali Vijay in the Chennai line-up and Dirk Nannes also comes in place of Jason Holder.
