The tough rivals India and Pakistan will be playing the practice match in Colombo which is like a practice session for both the teams. The schedule is planned by the Indian Cricket Council. There are 12 practice matches and one is against Pakistan.
The Pakistan Team Captain Mohammed Hafeez welcomed the chance of playing against India before the Tournament starts because the Captain feels that it is generally a High-Pressure game and it is good to experience it before the Event.
Indian Cricket Team Coach Duncan Fletcher mentioned that two matches, one against Pakistan and the other against Sri Lanka are really important for the team. He said that there are high hopes on India winning the T-20 World Cup. The two matches prior to the event will definitely be a great practice for the Indian Team.
Bilateral cricket ties between the two nations, which had been suspended since the Mumbai attacks in 2008, are set to resume later this year when Pakistan tour India for three one-dayers and two Twenty20 games.
