So at last an end to the high profile political drama in Karnataka. With the extensive pressure from BSY BJP replaced the Current CM Sadananda Gowda with Jagadish Shettar and would be announced officially in a week from now.
The one month episode of political saga comes to an end at last with BJP President Nitin Gadkari has come to a conclusion that Shettar a BSY representative should be elected as the next CM of Karnataka.“High command would come out with the official news most likely in a week.
We have now kept the choice to the party leaders, whatever the decision is we would accept the same ” said Shettar. However this decision would also be looked by BJP Parliamentary board which is the decision making body of the party while we expect a positive response because most of the members are in sync with the decision because of the failure and damaged caused by the threats since last 4 years now.
Despite high command has insisted BSY team to keep quiet until the presidential election which are due July 19 they have set a dead line of July 5th because of the Karnataka Assembly session starting from July 6. Inside reports also say that the announcement would be probably made on July 9. While there is still no clue about who would be the next Deputy CM BJP Karnataka Head KS Eshwarappa , R Ashoka and Sadananda Gowda are the strong contenders.
