MUMBAI: Two of the biggest Khans in Bollywood are no longer on speaking terms. Many of Salman Khan’s movies have crossed the 100 crore mark, and Shah Rukh still rules as the badshah of Bollywood.

There’s no love lost between the two biggies, and at the receiving end of the cold (or otherwise) war is Aditya Chopra. Salman has allegedly demanded a rupee more than the amount that Shah Rukh gets from Aditya Chopra!

Apparently, the ‘one rupee more, please’ demand has always been behind the amicable relationships and competitions between actors in the industry. Since the times of actors like Dev Anand and Raj Kapoor, and then to the more recent Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan, directors have always had the difficult work of choosing an actor worth a rupee more.

Tradition has continued as far as the monetary remuneration is concerned. And it has permeated down to our Khans – Salman and Shah Rukh, too. One crore or a hundred crores is hardly of any consequence to the arch rivals. It is only one rupee that matters!
