Bollywod actress Vidya balan wooed the audience with her much acclaimed dirty act in Milan Luthria’s ‘The Dirty Picture’ and now it has won her the coveted National Award. Vidya Balan has been named as the best actress in the 59th National Films Awards for her brilliant portrayal of Silk Smitha in last year’s blockbuster ‘The Dirty Picture’.

Marathi actor Girish Kulkarni has been adjudged as the best actor for the film ‘Deool’.The jury, consisting of actress Rohini Hattangadi amongst others, announced the winners on Wednesday in New Delhi.
