Bangalore: According to a report ‘The Path Forward’ released by Accenture, Indian men [72 percent] are among the most dissatisfied workers in the world after the Brazilian men [74 percent].

The survey also reported that in India, women cited lack of good opportunities and heavy workload as the reasons behind their dissatisfaction with their jobs.

But for the men, it was totally a different reason because for them the inadequate pay was considered as the main reason behind their dissatisfaction.

The overall job satisfaction in India is at 34 percent, whereas in the global level it is 42 percent, reports the Business Standard.

The survey showed 78 percent of the Indian women are managing their careers well and it is also reported that many of the respondents from developing countries are taking greater interest regarding their careers than compared to the workers from developed economies.

Apart from the employees from India, China and the United Kingdom, many of the employees’ careers are not managed at all.

In India, both men and women strongly believe in the fact that women are equal to men in the workforce.

Over 64 percent of Indian men have sacrificed their precious time that had to be spent with their family to succeed in their professional life and this percentage is considered to be the highest in the world.
