A news report says Apple plans to unveil its iPad 3 on March 7. As per the media reports, Apple Inc may announce something about the next iPad anytime now and speculations are running rife about the specifications of the much anticipated next generation tablet.
As far as its features are concerned, iPad 3 is expected to have a faster processor, bigger and better screen, compatibility with multiple networks and also a heftier bulk. However, reports suggest that a full stop will be put on all the mysteries regarding the specifications when Apple comes out with the announcement on 7th March this year. This date has been made popular by Apple blog iMore.
The blog also adds that the next generation iPad will have a quad-core processor, though it states uncertainty about iPad 3 having LTE compatibility, as predicted by a report of Boy Genius. Along with Boy Genius, Wall Street Journal also reported that “people familiar with the matter” said Apple was preparing an LTE version for the Verizon and AT&T networks in the US. The news paper also claims that the tech giant is testing a version of the iPad that has a smaller screen than the current model. However, at the moment all eyes rest on the announcement date, when Apple will make things official.
