Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal on Sunday read out a message sent by the AAP supremo from lock-up at the INDIA bloc’s ‘maharally’ at the Ramlila maidan in Delhi.

As part of his message, Kejriwal said that India is in pain and also announced 6 guarantees if INDIA bloc is voted to power, which include 24/7 power supply and high class education.

“Your own Kejriwal has sent a message for you from jail. Before reading this message, I would like to ask you something. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi put my husband in jail, did the Prime Minister do the right thing? Do you believe that Kejriwal Ji is a true patriot and honest person? These BJP people are saying that Kejriwal ji is in jail, he should resign. Should he resign? Your Kejriwal is a lion, they will not be able to keep him in jail for long,” she said.

If you give opportunity to INDIA bloc, we’ll build a great nation, Sunita Kejriwal said while reading out her husband’s message.

Kejriwal’s six guarantees are no power cuts, free electricity for poor, better and more government schools, mohalla clinics, MSP for farmers and full statehood for Delhi.

“First, there will be no power cuts in the whole country. Second, electricity would be free for the poor people. Third, we will make government schools in every village. Fourth, we will make Mohalla Clinics in every village. We will make a multi-speciality government hospital in every district. Everyone would get free treatment. Fifth, farmers would be given the correct price for the crops. Sixth, the people of Delhi have faced injustice for 75 years… We will give statehood to Delhi,” Kejriwal said in his message.

The leader also said that these guarantees will be fulfilled in the next five years and have also prepared a plan to cater to the financial requirements in the process.

Leaders of the INDIA bloc have assembled at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan in a display of solidarity following the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a money laundering case linked to the Delhi excise policy scam.

Kejriwal, who was taken into custody by the ED on March 21, will remain detained until April 1.

Notable figures like Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge also feature on hoardings and posters at the Ramlila Maidan ahead of the ‘maha rally’ organized by the INDIA bloc to denounce Kejriwal’s arrest.
