The event was held to benefit a worthy organization, Ekal Vidyalaya, dedicated to education and village development in rural India. It was entertainment for a great cause!

NEW DELHI: Pulling up the Centre for its "casual" approach on important issue of decriminalization of homosexuality, the Supreme Court on Tuesday said it needs to be condemned.
After going through various affidavits of the government, a bench of justices G S Singhvi and S J Mukhopadhyay said the Centre has taken this case very casually.

WASHINGTON, March 19 – The United States will launch an online portal that will help Indian-Americans to safely donate funds to non-government bodies in India following some reports claiming that almost half of that money is misused.
It is reported that some NGOs in India are misusing foreign aid, mostly to support high administrative costs of running organizations.
The website, initiated by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, is in its final stages before the launch in late April or early May.
