Google says it has already sent planes over cities while Apple has acquired a firm using spy-in-the-sky technology that has been already tested on at least 20 locations, including London.

A judicial investigation in Pakistan has found that the country's former ambassador to the US did write a letter to US officials seeking assistance in case of a potential coup against Pakistani president. The former ambassador has denied the charges calling them politically motivated.

The Karnataka government ordered arrest of controversial Hindu religious Nityananada and sealing of his ashram complex near here following allegations of sexual exploitation of women.
The order was issued by Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda in the wake of a state-wide demand for his arrest and closure of the ashram in Bidadi, 35 km from Bangalore.

Car sales in India grew at the slowest pace in seven months during May with industry body SIAM Monday reporting 2.78 percent growth as high interest rates and petrol prices continue to hit the market.
According to figures released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), domestic car sales in May stood at 1,63,229 units as against 1,58,809 units in the same month last year.
