Petrol price hiked by Rs 2.19 per litre, Diesel up by...

New Delhi: Less than a month after petrol prices were hiked by over Rs 3 per litre, they were on Monday increased further by Rs 2.19 per litre while that of diesel went up by 98 paise a litre.

Petrol price was earlier hiked on March 16 by Rs 3.07 a litre, reversing its 3-month declining trend, while diesel rates went up by Rs 1.90 per litre.
