45,000 artificial intelligence jobs in India with up to Rs 14 lakh starting salary, demand for skills growing, says new report

According to a research released on Monday, there were 45,000 job opportunities for artificial intelligence (AI) positions in India last month, with data scientists and machine learning (ML) engineers ranking among the top professions.

According to Teamlease, a human resources firm, “Initiative for Critical and Emerging Technologies (iCET) – Factors Shaping Future of Technology” research, a focus on ML applications is driving demand for AI specialists skilled in scripting languages.

The main competency needed for an AI profession will be building traditional ML models.

According to the research, entry-level AI engineers can anticipate starting earnings between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 14 lakh annually.
