So apparently, it costs a bomb to live like royalty. I mean, with the fancy dresses, fine dining and all, the pennies are bound to add up, right?

So apparently, it costs a bomb to live like royalty. I mean, with the fancy dresses, fine dining and all, the pennies are bound to add up, right?
Considering we all want to get our noses in on the royal goss, the British Palace recently revealed that on average, it costs over $4.6 million to live the high life for a year but get this, that total equates to over £3 million in the UK. Read it and weep, guys.
Supposedly, that amount counts for travel, staff, official wardrobes and all – basically, the whole lot if you fancy splashing out a bit.
That cost is largely footed by Prince Charles himself due to having an enormous estate given to him for funding. It's alright for some, isn't it? The 66 year-old father and grandfather to two also likes to spoil his grandchildren by passing down a few pennies as he sees fit.
"We can't identify how much of it is allocated to their office," the source told The People as in previous years, it's been hard to keep an eye on the family's spending habits, not to mention Kate's wardrobe which just about seals the deal.
However, the yearly cost of over $4.6 million doesn't equate for Will and Kate's country home known as Amner Hall AND it doesn't cover the couple's personal staff either…OR their travel.
What the British Royal family looked like the year you were born
Yep, we're pretty much speechless and needless to say, BROKE, compared to these guys. Now excuse us while we go scour the reduced shelf at Tesco.
