So after a couple of road bumps we hit in the London Olympic 2012 we have something good to cheer about. Tennis super starts Leander Paes and Sania Mirza enter into quarter  finals after defeating Serbian duo Nenad Zimonjic and Ana Ivanovic in a mixed double on Thursday.

The Indian pair defeated them in a straight set 6-2 6-4 I only in an hour of time. Paes-Mirza dominated the game from the beginning and never let the opponent take a chance to come back in the game.  And on the other hand Ace Badminton and our hope for Gold this season Saina Nehwal knocked off Tina Baun of Denmark 21-15, 22-20 to reach the Semi Finals of the Women’s Single tournament.

She is the only women to achieve this feat. And as expected all the Chinese stars of Badminton made the semifinals, with Li Xuerui and Wang Xin setting up the other clash.  She will not take a head to head with Wang Yihan of in the semi’s.

Well at least there is some hope for a single Gold Medal.
