ICICI Bank Ltd said the lender's decision to cut its base interest rate by a quarter percentage point won't affect its profitability. Twenty percent of the spam mails that were sent out worldwide in the quarter ended March 31, 2012, originated in India, according to a study by security software firm Trend Micro. "The quarter's top spam-sending countries included India at 20 percent, Indonesia at 13 percent, South Korea at 12 percent and Russia at 10 percent," the report said.

Bimal Guha, the president of Bengal Taxi Association says, “The minimum fare should be raised to Rs 30 from the current Rs 22. The West Bengal government has last enhanced taxi-fare in August 2009.”
