CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa has called for a referendum among Sri Lankan Tamils on the formation of a 'Separate Eelam' (Tamil land) within Sri Lanka. The referendum, she said, should be held for the sake of their future welfare.
