Mumbai: Reserve Bank Governor Raghuram Rajan today slammed International Monetary Fund for staying on the sidelines and applauding accommodative policies of developed nations which have created ripples in the emerging markets.

He said central banks across the world are worried about deflation and want to promote growth to avert it at any cost.

NEW DELHI: Most people in the Capital feel that among all public services, corruption is the highest in the police, says a study.

The survey, carried out by CMS-India in partnership with Transparency International, said a Delhi household on an average had to pay Rs 2,486 as bribe in the past one year, totaling Rs 239.26 crore across 15 public services.
