In a country like India, citizens had a hope that they can express their feelings and opinions in a free manner. But things that are happening since some time now, has created a fear of talking about anything even in a person's personal space. What is happening? Are we under highly powerful and influential people?

In a country like India, citizens had a hope that they can express their feelings and opinions in a free manner. But things that are happening since some time now, has created a fear of talking about anything even in a person's personal space. What is happening? Are we under highly powerful and influential people?

Democratic India has gone for a toss? First, it was a businessman from Pudhuchery and now two girls from Mumbai. With due respect for the Shiv Sena Leader Bal Thackeray, one cannot find anything offensive or insulting from the status updated by the 21-year old girl. She was only intrigued about knowing why the entire city should be shut down for two days, just because a leader died.

For this reason, her uncle's clinic was broken down and a friend who liked her status was arrested along with her. This is an insane behavior. Is the government supporting unfair acts like these? Where is our right? Are we just going to stay quiet and watch all this happening? Don't we even deserve to talk what we feel without offending anyone? It is time to think.
