Karan Johar the prominent film maker and TV host is all on cloud 9 when he gets an official initiation for London Olympics starting July 27.
Karan is so excited and says he got a life time opportunity to witness something very special and he would not miss this for anything in this world. Last year Karan Johar was chosen as a Brand Ambassador for Visit Britain campaign which was launched by Britain Government to promote the visitors.
And now the filmmaker has received an official invitation to join the 506 dignitaries present at the event, the other person invited from India is Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. He will now have a privilege to witness the happenings from the special box only named for special people around the world. Acknowledging the invitation he said “I’m truly humbled and excited, of the honor.
The 2012 Olympics is going to be a conglomerate of an epic magnitude. The memory of having participated in it, even as a spectator, is going to stay with me for a lifetime. It is London’s big-ticket weekend and I’m not about to miss it for anything in the world.” Apparently Karan has postponed all his shootings for that weekend and is now busy making arrangement s for London. His latest movie Student of the Year is all set to release later this year.
