Citizenship laws say a person born in India after July 1, 1987 cannot claim automatic citizenship unless at least one of the parents is an Indian.

JODHPUR: Spiritual guru Asaram Bapu, arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a minor girl, was Monday sent to judicial custody for 14 days by a court here in Rajasthan.

According to Jodhpur Police, Asaram Bapu claimed innocence before investigators and denied the allegation of sexual assault leveled against him.
