A plane entered the restricted airspace near US President Joe Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware. Soon, Air Force fighter jets were scrambled to intercept the aircraft, the United States Secret Service confirmed in a statement.
“Shortly after 2 pm, a civilian aircraft violated restricted airspace north of Wilmington, Delaware. As a precaution, assets were scrambled to intercept and the civilian aircraft safely landed at a nearby airport. There were no impacts to the protectee’s movements as a result of this incident and agents from the US,” the statement said.
